Part 01 – Who am I?
From the peaks of Himalayan glaciers to the tip of this peninsula, wherever I go, unique and thrill-seeking characters manage to befriend me at will. By sparking my imagination, creating new interests, and taking me to places I had never even heard of, they have indirectly shaped my identity as a storyteller. Preferably, I would choose not to live in an environment filled with unresolved conflicts and resentments. But what to do? Other planets are uninhabitable. My nature is to turn negative emotions into positivity and sometimes vice versa. Ahem. That’s why, when I was just 8 years old, due to my lucky circumstances, I created my first short story called “The Kid’s Valley.”
Synopsis of “THE KIDS VALLEY”
A group of children embarked on a tour without the knowledge of their rich parents. One of the kids stole his father’s car, while the rest of them pilfered money from their homes. Together, singing and laughing, the naughty friends set off on a ride. They reached a hill station in the middle of the night. The entire town was sound asleep, and it was getting too cold to be outside on the road. When they struggled to find themselves a hotel, out of nowhere, a strange-looking grandmother arrived. She offered the group a large key and asked them to stay at her villa for free. The children accepted without even thinking about the granny’s hidden intentions. They entered the villa and started exploring the rooms. Soon each child realized on their own that they were stuck in a haunted villa. Just when they were about to escape, the granny reappeared and tried to keep them locked inside the villa forever. Imagining that the granny will never let them see their parents again, the children cried and begged the granny to let them go. However, the granny demanded that they must promise to never steal from their parents once again. Once they promised, the children were allowed to leave in the morning. The whole group took a vow that they will never again do anything without informing their parents about their plan.
Journey of a Storyteller: From Imagination to Screen
In the year 2010, I embarked on a journey that would forever shape my identity as a storyteller. It all began with my second story, a gripping plot that unfolded in the shadows of lies and deceit: “A corrupt, slacking, and selfish police officer finds himself haunted by the past. His best friend’s suicide, which occurred many years ago, continues to gnaw at his conscience. But what if there’s more to the story? What if a serial killer, lurking in the shadows, holds the key to unraveling the truth? As the officer delves deeper into the investigation, he discovers that the answers lie within his own memories.“
My friends were genuinely surprised by my ability to conjure imaginary events, vivid characters, and compelling dialogues. Despite being mocked for my seemingly “Bunkum” ideas, I persisted. In 2011, I narrated a new story—one that resonated deeply. It was good enough to be turned into a script, and thus, I penned my first screenplay.
After a year of rigorous production work, countless setbacks, and unwavering determination, my friends and I achieved a milestone. On 15th August 2012, we released our first short film on YouTube: “Sweetie”

“Sweetie” transported viewers into a world of emotions, suspense, and unexpected twists. It was a testament to our shared passion for storytelling. However, the journey did not end there. In the same year, I took on a new challenge: to narrate an entire story within a mere minute. It was a sprint through time and choices. Could we convey a powerful message in such a brief span? The clock was ticking, and we embraced the challenge. The result was our second short film: “Edhirkaalam?”

Discovering, Creating, and Sharing Stories
Even after crafting those initial two films, I remained blissfully unaware that the world held so much more for me to learn. The art of storytelling demanded more than just imaginary characters and ironic situations—it required the mental labor of weaving those threads into a logical and satisfying conclusion. Then, in 2017, it happened. My third script materialized—a labor of love that would shape my journey as a storyteller: 🎬 “Patchaathaabam” A Comedy Drama Unveiling the Secrets of Mirror Neurons.
In “Patchaathaabam,” we delved into the fascinating world of mirror neurons—the brain’s silent observers. These neurons fire not only when we perform an action but also when we witness someone else doing the same. Our film explored the ripple effects of these mirror neurons on human behavior, relationships, and emotions. Why didn’t we release it on any platform? Well, sometimes art is like a secret whispered to the wind—a treasure meant for a select few. Various reasons led us to keep “Patchaathaabam” close to our hearts, but its impact fueled our passion even further. And so, my journey as a storyteller began—a journey fueled by curiosity, resilience, and the desire to tell stories that resonate. Over the past 12 years, I’ve collected tales from diverse corners of our world—craziest, heartwarming, and awe-inspiring. Now, I invite you to join me on this platform, where episodic storytelling is set to meet invaluable research data and exciting characters.
Keep an eye out, dear friends, as we unravel mysteries, celebrate humanity, and venture into uncharted territories. Your feedback fuels our progress, and together, we’ll continue to explore the magic of storytelling. Thank you for being part of this adventure! 🎥✨
